Founded in 2005, Extravagant Affairs mission is to coordinate events based on the needs and desires of the client.  We seek to minimize the stress levels of our clients by diligently working to ensure that their event is a success.  We are passionate about all of our broad-base services that  we provide to our clients from Event Management/Wedding planning and our Bridal Boutique. We want to assure our clients and customers, that they will always receive the very BEST!  We make it our business to focus on the details, so that they don't have too!

The reason why Extravagant Affairs is so unique, is our approach to every event and wedding affair that we manage. Our team together, comes with a broad background, knowledge and experience in the event management/ and wedding planning industry. As a team we have combined both our American style and culture, with our European style and culture, which brings forth another level of “Extravagance” all on it’s on!

Specializing in wedding planning, we offer services that are built around each bride and groom we represent.  Wedding days should be filled with love and joy and it is our goal to make sure that couples are not bogged down by trivial details, but that they are able to enjoy the uniting of two people who are in love and wish to dedicate themselves to one another.

After spending 23 years in the US Air force, working in the Logistics\Budget Analysis and Information Technology fields, he brings a wealth of knowledge in the planning\ logistics arena.



Christina Hong, Event Planner and Designer
Christina has over nine years knowledge and expererince in  event management/ planning . She has a passion for creative designs and speakers Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese languages.  






Jemie Santos-Villanueva,Event planner/Floral designer.. Jemie has over 10 years of experience in planning, event setup an floral designing. Jemie is committed to creating your event idea come to life.



Elena Ursal, come with over 15 years of creative design and staging experience. Her creative eye for details, and balloon sculpturing is out of this word!




Maria Elena Santiago, Event Designer/Setup Assistant is the newest addition to our team! New to the DMV, she comes to us from Washington State. Bringing her eye for creativity and detail along. Any task she completes, is guaranteed to be EXTRAVAGANT!




Joselo Anzoateguia, is a fashion and wedding  photographer based in Washington DC. His work has been described as Classic, romantic and clean. These are three qualities that make up a perfect image and Joselo nails it every time.Born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia  he picked up his first camera at age 23. It was a Nikon F5. Bought with the money he saved from his first job in USA , Joselo  began photographing the beauty that surrounded him in his hometown of Arlington Virginia. In home he began to take interest in the beautiful Italian designers that he saw in fashion magazines such as Vogue, Italian Vogue, and W magazine. Being 100% Italian it was love at first sight.


 
Monique Quarles-Moody, comes with us with a background in hospitality and management from Marriott Inc. She brings a wealth of knowledge and  experience in the event management/and coordinating arena.



 
Erica, Guilfoyle, is Extravagant Affair's exclusive vendor for all wedding and special occasion stationary and customized printing. Erica owns Peacock Printing’s, their mission is to provide brides and grooms with beautiful, high quality, affordable custom stationery. Specializing in bold, colorful, nature based wedding design, our invitations will leave a big impression on your guests! Coordinating items in any style are also available including programs, place cards, thank you cards, menus, banners, shower invitations, and much more. Do-it-Yourself options are also available.

Peacock Printing's service any type of event, be it a church wedding, outdoor or civil ceremony, no matter how big or small, and ship anywhere in the world. has worked with children for many years and also has children of her own. She knows what works and what doesn't. She loves bringing joy, laughter and happiness to your child's party with our high energy dancing, enthusiasm and silliness. Her face painting is said to be "unlike any other face painter we have ever seen" and even our very young clients appreciate art when they see it. All is provided to make your child's day a memorable one. From gaming equipment, music, sculpting balloons and professional non-staining face paints right down to little presents for our games and bubble blowing, and Magic Shows, with a "real" live rabbit.
